Member Benefits
The goal of your Alliance membership is to help you grow your business. Our benefits are designed to help you achieve that goal through:
Networking
Marketing & Advertising
Education & Counseling
Discounted Business Services
Networking:
Networking Groups: Chamber & Tourism Alliance Networking Groups provide members a direct opportunity for networking to share ideas, contacts and a continuing source for referrals for their businesses. Networking Groups take advantage of the ability to cultivate relationships in smaller referral groups while benefiting from the extensive resources of the entire Chamber & Tourism Alliance membership and organization.
Committees - Members are always welcomed and encouraged to get involved in any of the vast array of Alliance committees. The benefits are great when you become an active part of the Alliance and help shape the future.
Networking Events - The more time and energy you put into your membership, the more you get out of it. We offer several ways to get involved:
- ANNUAL DINNER AND DANCE: A themed semi-formal dinner and dancing.
- BUSINESS AFTER HOURS (BAH): Monthly event for business contacts and staff to meet potential customers. This event is for Alliance members only.
- CHAMBER CHALLENGE (GOLF): Members compete in a fun-filled round of golf.
- OKTOBERFEST: An annual event to provide an opportunity to interact in a relaxed social setting at Busch Gardens.
- TASTE OF WILLIAMSBURG: An annual premiere tasting event showcases member restaurants.
- TRADE SHOW: Members display their products and services in a Business After Hours setting.

This comprehensive listing of Alliance members, categorically, alphabetically, and by representative, is distributed to 20,000 local residents and businesses annually.
Advertising - You may advertise in the Member Resource Directory, the Alliance newsletter "Outlook", on the Alliance's Internet member listing, or choose a sponsorship opportunity from the variety of Alliance programs and activities planned each year. As a member, you receive three free listings in the Membership Directory, the same listings on the Alliance Internet member listing, and are acknowledged as a new member in the Outlook. The directory is distributed in early Spring through the Virginia Gazette to 17,000 Gazette subscribers.
