Wild
Gifts for the Holidays
November 1 - December 23
The Virginia Living Museum's
Wild Things Museum Store introduces "Wild Gifts for the
Holidays," a collection of unusual and affordable
nature-related items for all ages, including eco-friendly
clothing, plush toys, and stationery. Favorites include
easy reader books, learning games, socks and hoodies,
cuddly stuffed animals, home decor and hand-made jewelry -
all themed to reflect Virginia's native wildlife. Many
items are unique, being created especially for the museum.
All proceeds benefit the Virginia Living Museum. |

Holiday Farmers Market
November 17 & 24, December 8, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Products at this market will feature berries, greens
and cut trees for decorating; baked goods, meats, seafood,
and items for gift giving will be for sale at these
festive markets. Various entertainment will provide
seasonal music. |

31st Annual Holiday Antiques Show
November 23 - 25
Thirty-plus dealers from eleven
states and UK present room settings from the 18th and 19th
centuries with distinctive accessories. Gordon Converse,
Converse Auctions and formerly of the Antiques Roadshow
will appraise for a donation of $10. Kimberly Overman of
McVey Restorations, Richmond will accept ceramics needing
repair. Location: Williamsburg Hotel & Conference Center

Yorktown Market Days
December 15, 8 am - 3 pm
Our Yorktown Market Days (8 am till 3 pm) will offer
unique items to the holiday season, in addition to the
usual array of fresh produce, meat and seafood, baked
goods, specialty cut flowers, quality art, and live
musical entertainment provided by a DJ- playing holiday
music and much more awaits you at the Saturday morning
market. Starting at 1:30 become a part of our Toyland
Parade, jump in with a decorated a stroller or wagon, or
even yourself! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to
greet the guests and Mrs. Claus will host her own
storytelling show. The Fifes and Drums of York Town will
be leading the parade. As an added treat, the Polar
Express will be chugging along through Riverwalk Landing .
