Motorcoach Drivers:

Help yourself and the environment at the same time!  The Williamsburg area offers several locations for motorcoach drivers to park and relax.  Forget idling on the street corner.  Head over to one of the locations listed below for a chance to unwind while your tour group visits the local attractions. 

Colonial Williamsburg - Penske Bus Service Center
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation provides free parking for tour buses and free use of its drivers' lounge for tour bus drivers.  The lounge and parking lot are located 1.5 miles east of the Historic Area on U.S. Route 60 at the Penske Bus Service Center, 7239 Pocahontas Trail.  The lounge offers free parking, TV and comfortable seating, restrooms, full-service vending operations (including hot and cold meals), kitchen and dining facilities, direct communication links with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's Group Arrivals Launch Desk, and wireless Internet access.  757-565-2921.  Click here for more information about this partnership.  Map the location here. 

Williamsburg Outlet Mall
While your group spends the morning or afternoon shopping at the Williamsburg Outlet, be sure to take advantage of the Mall's new Motorcoach Lounge.  This lounge offers leather reclining seats and a 50' television.  Pick up the Lounge keys from the Vitamin World store.  The Williamsburg Outlet Mall is located at 6401 Richmond Road in Lightfoot.  757-565-3378.  Map the location here. 

Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Enjoy the park with the rest of your group!  Motorcoach drivers receive free admission!  Ride the coasters, see the shows, enjoy the food, or simply sit back and soak up the atmosphere.  Be sure to park in the ENGLAND LOT.  800-343-7946

Colonial National Historical Park Service Information:

NOTE: The repairs to the Powhatan Creek Bridge along the parkway are closed through at least late spring. From Williamsburg, the Parkway remains open to traffic as far as the Jamestown Information Station; however, it continues to be closed to through traffic between Route 199/King's Point and Route 359 (Jamestown) and the marked detour utilizing Route 199, Jamestown Road and Route 359 remains in place. 

The National Park Service (Colonial National Historical Park) requires a permit for commercial vehicles on the Colonial Parkway, part of the Colonial National Historical Park.  A one-day permit ($3.00) is available at Historic Jamestowne or Yorktown Battlefield & Visitor Center.  Annual permits are also available.  Student educational groups may qualify for a waiver.  Please call 757-229-1282 for more information.

Motorcoach Parking Information

Busch Gardens
All motorcoaches are to park in the ENGLAND LOT. This is complimentary for all vehicles containing 15 or more passengers. Bus Drivers receive free admission to the park (only valid on the day of the group visit). Call 800-343-7946 for more information.  

Colonial Williamsburg
Updated information!  There are new Bus parking signs in Colonial Williamsburg!  For complete information, please download the Motorcoach Parking & Map for the City of Williamsburg.

.Ample parking is available at the Visitors Center. All buses going to the Group Arrivals Building or the Visitors Center should enter from Route 60 (Bypass Road).  The bus waiting area by the Group Arrivals Building is for on and off bus loading (15 minutes). Long-term bus loading is available northeast of the Group Arrivals Building  and also on First Street off of Capitol Landing Road.

After 5:00 p.m., Tavern bus parking is available on the corner of Botetourt and Franklin Street.

Additional On and Off bus loading (15 minutes) in the Historic Area are found at the following locations:

Waller Street
Francis Street
Nassau Street (DeWitt Wallace Museum)

Historic Yorktown & Riverwalk Landing
Along Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown, motorcoach pull-offs are available for easy unloading.  Convenient motorcoach parking is offered at the National Park Service from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the York County Administration building from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  To view an area map of Historic Yorktown, please click here. Water Country USA
When buses go through the toll plaza, they are directed to the far left area of the parking lot (the lot is a big square, nothing too complicated).  Bus drivers should follow the drive all the way to the left and park there. Motorcoach drivers also receive free admission to the park - only valid on the day of their group's visit.  Call 800-343-7946 for additional information.
