Vehicle Registration One time $50.00 application fee, plus $3.00 per vehicle per year. Colonial National Historical Park Service Information: NOTE: The repairs to the Powhatan Creek Bridge along the parkway are closed through at least late spring. From Williamsburg, the Parkway remains open to traffic as far as the Jamestown Information Station; however, it continues to be closed to through traffic between Route 199/King's Point and Route 359 (Jamestown) and the marked detour utilizing Route 199, Jamestown Road and Route 359 remains in place. The National Park Service (Colonial National Historical Park) requires a permit for commercial vehicles on the Colonial Parkway, part of the Colonial National Historical Park. A one-day permit ($3.00) is available at Historic Jamestowne or Yorktown Battlefield & Visitor Center. Annual permits are also available. Student educational groups may qualify for a waiver. Motorcoach Parking Information Busch Gardens Colonial Williamsburg .Ample parking is available at the Visitors Center. All buses going to the Group Arrivals Building or the Visitors Center should enter from Route 60 (Bypass Road). The bus waiting area by the Group Arrivals Building is for on and off bus loading (15 minutes). Long-term bus loading is available northeast of the Group Arrivals Building and also on First Street off of Capitol Landing Road. After 5:00 p.m., Tavern bus parking is available on the corner of Botetourt and Franklin Street. Additional On and Off bus loading (15 minutes) in the Historic Area are found at the following locations:
