Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum
Enjoy the unrestrained exuberance of American folk art in its new home, adjacent to the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum.  Explore artistic talents expressed in paintings, sculpture, textiles, painted furniture and musical instruments.  Tours and interactive craft projects offered daily and involve the whole family.  757-229-2141
An Occasion for the Arts
An Occasion for the Arts is a juried art show that spotlights the visual and performing arts in the Greater Williamsburg area, promotes the expansion of the arts in the community and provides mini-grants and scholarships. 757-258-5587
Apryl Altman Art 
Apryl Altman is an artist providing faux finish and mural services to the Hampton Roads area. This also includes hand painted tiles, furniture and wood graining. Black Dog Gallery

Colonial Fiber Arts, LLC

Connie Desaulniers Art Studio

DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum
Explore 17th- through early 19-century paintings, textiles, furniture, metals, ceramics and prints.  Introductory tours offered daily.  Musical, live performance and scholarly programs related to the collection are offered at the Hennage Auditorium along with tours of special exhibitions.  757-229-2141
Gallery at York Hall
Featuring fine art and fine craft by local artists for exhibit and sale.  This non-profit, volunteer-run gallery creates themed shows that change every six to eight weeks.  Profits support community programs and events.  The Gallery is also a visitor center for Historic Yorktown.  757-890-4490
Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance
The Art Gallery of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance showcases original works created by individual member artists on a rotating basis.  Exhibits are free to the public and change quarterly, highlighting a range of Historic Triangle arts offerings.  757-229-6511
Gulay Berryman Art, Inc.
Oil paintings, Williamsburg art prints and note cards available at The Gallery on Merchants Square.  Gulay Berryman is an international acclaimed artist whose credits include 2005 Florence, Italy International Biennale, finalist in Kunst Forum's 2006 SEETAL art show in Switzerland and winner of Kennedy Promotions "2005 Best in Virginia" competition.  757-565-0954
James City County Complex
Art exhibits started back in 2005 in the Building E lobby of the James government complex buildings off of Mount Bay Road at the entrance to Kingsmill.  It showcases employees and resident artists living in James City County every six weeks on a rotating exhibits.  757-253-6618 

Jamestown Glasshouse

In 1608, glassmaking, America's first English industry, began in Jamestown, Virginia.  Today, costumed craftsmen, using tools and techniques similar to those used centuries ago, blow one-of-a-kind period reproductions and contemporary pieces.  Only green glass is blown at the Glasshouse, but other colors are blown at an off-site location.  A four-year apprentice programs trains glass blowers.  757-229-2437

 Kyra A. Cook Pottery & Tile Works
Functional works in stoneware.  The animated posture of Cook's richly glazed pots compels the user to slow down and contemplate the form.  Whether it's a distinctive rim, beautiful shape or subtle swirls of color, her pottery is a journey that enhances the quality of life.  757-565-0425

Master Craftsmen Shop

Master Craftsmen has been making silver bracelets on location since 1982.  In addition they have their own line of pewterware, Christmas angel and animal ornaments and gifts made in the USA.  Hand and machine engraving are offered as well as excellent customer service. 800-866-7458 or 757-253-2993

Muscarelle Museum of Art

The Muscarelle Museum of Art showcases The College of William & Mary’s permanent collection including works by Copley, Matisse, Picasso and O’Keefe and regularly features special exhibitions from around the world. An ever-changing selection of unique gifts such as exceptional jewelry, books, glass items and more are available in the Museum Shop.  757-221-2700

New Town Art Gallery
New Town Art Gallery in Williamsburg is a dynamic mix of artwork from ten local artists.  We feature a diverse offering of original paintings, sculpture, jewelry, as as well giclees, prints, and notecards in an elegant, upscale, 4,000 sq gallery on Main Street in New Town.  757-968-0716

Paula Goodman Koz

Goodman Koz has been a printmaker specializing in block prints (wood and linocut) for nearly 30 years. She has a special love for illustrating books and literary themes. The relationship between art and print is her primary focus.  757-253-8950

Period Design
A unique gallery that combines the finest in 17th-, 18th- and 19th-century inspired decorative arts and antiques as well as contemporary works. Rob Hunter offers 19th-century American stoneware, 17th- and 18th-century English and European ceramics, glass and contemporary ceramics. Michelle Erickson recreates hand-thrown and painted 17thand 18th-century reproduction ceramics and one-of-a-kind contemporary works. Erickson was commissioned to create the piece shown which was presented to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the founding of Jamestown.  757-886-9482
Prince George Art & Frame
Prince George Art & Frame combines a fine art gallery and custom framing in one location.  Local original art and changing exhibits make it one of Williamsburg's livelier art venues.  Our custom frame department has worked on much of the art seen around town in homes, restaurants, banks and hospitals.  757-229-7644

Shirley Pewter

Performing Arts

Dean Shostak's Crystal Concert
Dean Shostak is world-famous for reviving the glass Armonica, an instrument invented by Benjamin
Franklin. His Crystal Concert also features rare and antique glass instruments from around the world including Glass English Handbells, the Glass Violin from Japan and the Cristal Baschet from France.  Please see website for performance schedule. 800-588-3326

Ewell Hall Department of Music, Performing Arts Series

The College of William & Mary mounts theatrical, dance and musical performances on a regular basis. The performances generally take place during the academic year and include student as well as professional artists. In addition to Ewell Hall, you will also find performances at Phi Beta Kappa Hall, The Commonwealth  Auditorium and Lodge One of the University Center and other venues on campus. First Night Williamsburg
First Night Williamsburg is a non-alcoholic family oriented celebration of New Year's Eve.  Downtown Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary provide the setting for over 65 performers. Kimball Theatre

Lake Mataoka Amphitheatre

The amphitheater is on the shore of Lake Matoaka, surrounded by the natural beauty of the College woods. A perfect setting for performance art and any type of musical entertainment. Please contact the Office of Student Activities with questions, and about space availability.  757-221-3300

Merchants Square, Outdoor Performing Arts and Arts Show Venue
Situated adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area, Merchants Square is a cluster of 42-fine shops and restaurants in an unrivaled setting. Merchants Square annually hosts the Summer Breeze Concert Series on Wednesdays in July and August and strolling holiday musicians throughout December.  Visitors will also enjoy Art on the Square in April and An Occasion for the Arts, which is always held on the first Sunday in October.  757-220-7751

New Town Williamsburg

Outdoor concerts, art shows, arts & crafts sales -- find them in New Town. Discover fine restaurants with live music; visit artcafé26 and dine within an art gallery. Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall Performing Arts Series

The College of William & Mary mounts theatrical, dance and musical performances on a regular basis. William & Mary Theatre presents high quality and richly staged dramatic performances, reviving important classical dramas as well as producing the most challenging contemporary theatre. Riverwalk Landing, Outdoor Performing Arts Venue

Located on the Yorktown waterfront, Riverwalk Landing plays host to a multitude of events throughout the year. Riverwalk Landing offers an array of diverse shopping and dining opportunities all in a serene setting. The banks of the York River serve as a beautiful backdrop for the outdoor performance area. Rhythms on the Riverwalk Concert Series

Rhythms on the Riverwalk is a five-week fall concert series held at Riverwalk Landing in Historic Yorktown that features some of the area’s finest in jazz, swing, big band and patriotic music. Shagging on the Riverwalk Beach Music Series

Shagging on the Riverwalk is an eight-week summer concert series held at Riverwalk Landing in Historic Yorktown and features some of the area’s finest beach music, Motown, oldies and more. Guests have the opportunity to practice the “shag” on the large outdoor dance floor, and all are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. T he event is free and open to the public. Virginia Arts Festival

The Virginia Arts Festival presents must-see premieres, world-renowned artists and a spectacular array of music, dance, and more! Festival Williamsburg is one of six signature weekends of the Virginia Arts Festival, featuring such performers as Arturo Sandoval, Martha Graham Dance Company, Tiempo Libre, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and Patti LuPone. The Virginia Room is the perfect setting for great cabaret performances. Festival Williamsburg is unique each year with events held Thursday through Sunday.  757-282-2800

Virginia Shakespeare Festival
In 2009, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival celebrates its 31st season of professional classic theatre with productions of Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter's Tale, and Art, running June 24 to August 2 at Phi Beta Kappa Hall on Jamestown Road.  Box office opens January 21.  757-221-2674

William & Mary Hall, Kaplan Arena

Kaplan Arena at William & Mary Hall is an 8,973-seat arena, with the capability of increasing capacity to 10,175 for full stage events. A multi-purpose venue with nearly 24,000 square feet of floor space, William & Mary Hall has a long history of hosting concerts, trade shows, convocations, religious ceremonies, graduations, athletic events and other special events. Williamsburg Farmers Market - Music Series

Enjoy live musical performances while you select local products including organic produce, free-range chickens, beef and pork, oysters and crabs, herb plants, baked goods, honey, mushrooms, cheese and cut flowers. The Market is located in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square and across from the College of William & Mary. Williamsburg Library Theatre

Williamsburg Players

Williamsburg Symphonia

York County Library - Tabb

Yorktown Market Days at the River

The farmer's market includes local produce, fresh meat and seafood, baked goods, specialty cut flowers, handmade soaps, gourmet herbs, quality art and live musical entertainment all in a beautiful waterfront setting. Berret's Seafood Restaurant & Steakhouse Grill

Two choices, one location! Berret's Restaurant specializes in fresh regional seafood; the Taphouse Grill features grilled fish, steaks and burgers. Both offer full beverage service. Since its opening in 1983, Berret's has supported area artists by purchasing local original and edition artwork to use in decorating its public spaces. Fat Canary

Fat Canary, in the heart of Merchants Square, has received the coveted AAA Four Diamond award for excellence for each of the past five years since its opening six years ago. It shares a unique physical presence with The Cheese Shop and the 4,000-bottle Wine Cellar. The Trellis

Renowned for its artful cuisine, the Trellis also displays original art by Connie Desaulniers.
