Below are a list of current closings and important announcements from greater Williamsburg locations. If you have an update to add, please let us know. You can also follow our Facebook page for more information.
Busch Gardens
It's too early
to speculate on whether the park will be open this Sunday. We
will have to assess the storm track and will open only if the
park is safe for guests and employees. Guests are encouraged to
call (800) 343-7946, visit
www.buschgardens.com/va,
or visit our Facebook or Twitter feeds for the latest
information about the park operating schedule and activities.
Thank you for your understanding, and please be safe.
The College
of W&M
All Homecoming events today
are still on schedule. Decisions regarding Saturday's events
have not been made but we do anticipate some changes will be
necessary due to the storm. Please continue to call the Alumni
Association's weather line at 757-221-1184 and check
www.wmalumni.com
periodically for scheduling updates as weather conditions
change.
Colonial National Historical Park
The Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield units
of the park to include tour roads will be closed on Sunday,
October 28 and Monday, October 29. The park sites will reopen
once storm damage assessments and cleanup have been completed.
The Historic Triangle Shuttle and Jamestown Area Shuttle will
not operate on Sunday or Monday. The Colonial Parkway will
remain open, however motorists should be aware that downed trees
may ultimately make the scenic byway impassable. Colonial
National Historical Park may be reached by calling (757)
898-2410 or logging on to
www.nps.gov/colo.
The Nautical Dog
Closed on Monday, October 29.
