Event to develop business contacts and meet potential customers. A nominal admission fee is charged.

Annual Meeting—Annual open assembly of the general membership to install new Board of Directors Chair and awards ceremony.
Annual Gala—Semi-formal membership dinner, dance and awards.
Chamber Challenge—Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance members network and compete in a fun-filled round of golf at one of the area's premier courses, with a Captain's Choice shotgun start format. A variety of prizes are awarded.
Career Fair—An annual event offering employers the opportunity to solicit employees in a trade show atmosphere. Event includes Resume & Interview clinics as well as a Career Speaker.
Oktoberfest—An annual event providing members the opportunity to interact in a relaxed social setting at Busch Gardens.
Taste of Williamsburg—Annual specialty tasting event showcasing area member restaurants.
Brown Bag Lunch Seminars
Join us for a new educational opportunity to increase your business or enhance your professional development. Each seminar is aimed at helping you gain knowledge that you can put to work. You bring your own lunch, we will provide beverages, and a dynamic speaker.
SCORE mentors and representatives from the local business community conduct a variety of regularly scheduled, low-cost educational workshops that provide valuable information and techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful business.
Career Fair is the Alliance event offering members of the community an opportunity to find a career path perfect for them. The event, usually held in the Spring, includes employer recruitment booths featuring opportunities for full time and part time employment. Multiple clinics teaching resume guidelines as well as interview skills are included in the Career Fair event along with a guest speaker that focuses on a topic for attendees seeking employment.
LEAD Historic Triangle
LEAD Historic Triangle's mission is to encourage, develop and support future community leaders. The LHT program provides the foundation necessary to develop effective leaders within the Community. By being exposed to various aspects of and leaders within the Historic Triangle, class members can enhance their leadership skills.
Community Leadership Service
The mission of Community Leadership Service is to provide retirees and prospective retirees a broader understanding of the Historic Triangle -- its people, needs, governing bodies, and key institutions; and to encourage participants to pursue volunteer leadership roles in the community.
Prepare-Care-Share Hospitality Training
A program to provide excellent customer service to guests visiting our area.
An event that highlights the work being done to promote the Greater Williamsburg region as a vacation destination, including the WADMC campaign, Alliance-sponsored marketing, what is new from local attractions and an overview of upcoming events. This event is open to the public.
An annual rally held during National Travel & Tourism Week to honor the tourism industry and educate the community on the importance and impacts of tourism to our economy.
All members are listed on the Chamber website with an opportunity to be viewed under a maximum of three different categories. A direct link to each member’s website is available to showcase their business. With your membership listing, you now have the ability to add company news/press releases, special promotions (to the publics or members only), and job openings! Contact Tiffany for more information.
Members receive beneficial exposure to the most influential leaders of the business community by participating in annual sponsorship program. Sponsorship funds assist in offsetting operational expenses involved in presenting programs, activities and special events.
The Alliance recognizes businesses and members through social media.
All members may submit their events using the online form to appear on the Alliance community calendar.
Brochure Display in Lobby
Members may display their brochure in our lobby at no charge. Visitors, area consumers and new residents may be made aware of the services that each member offers.

Pre and Post General Assembly Session
Opportunity to hear from your local legislators before and after the General Assembly sessions each year on their stances regarding issues affecting our area.

Annual Editorial Travel Missions take the Historic Triangle story directly to journalists in major markets. Press materials are used by travel journalists to develop Historic Triangle travel feature stories. Included in membership

This publication is a full-color magazine that is used to fulfill approximately 30,000 visitor inquiries each year and it is used as a fulfillment for all AAA offices requesting information on the Williamsburg area. It is distributed at the East Coast Gateway Welcome Center where peak visitation is over 5,000 cars per day and it is also available in a downloadable format on the web site.
Historic Triangle Brochure/Map
A free full-color publication with a printing of 100,000 listing Alliance member attractions, shopping, arts & artisans, golf, outdoor adventure, amusements & entertainment, dining and accommodations available in the Historic Triangle. A detailed map identifying the location of each business is included. It is distributed at Virginia Welcome Centers and is the most requested brochure/map in all of the Welcome Centers in Virginia.
A variety of special publications including golf, biking trails, ecotourism, and the Historic Triangle arts brochure. Members in these specific category listings are included for free.
Visitor Inquiry Leads
Each year the Alliance fulfills numerous requests from families for Historic Triangle vacation planning information generated by our media relations campaigns.
Alliance Member Mailing List
Members may receive the Alliance member mailing list at no charge. This list will contain mailing addresses only.
The Alliance will assist in the arrangements for ribbon cuttings for new businesses.
Member Awards Recognition
Each year the Alliance recognizes the Small Business of the Year, the Ambassador of the Year, the Membership Star of the Year, the Corporate Citizen of the Year, and the Military Citizens of the Year.
