Robyn Scott Gentry comes from the Mobile, Alabama area and has been in corporate digital marketing for the past 10 years and and is Google Certified in all four courses within the Google Academy (real thing). She has a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Auburn University at Montgomery and is a die-hard Roll Tide fan as she attended the University of Alabama first. She currently lives in the Williamsburg area and has a great love and affinity for history, economic development, helping businesses succeed in growth and sustainability as well as her husband and two dogs, Lucy & Guy.
What’s the best part of working at the Alliance?
“The best part of working at the Tourism Alliance is the team of people who are dedicated not only to the Alliance but to the communties of Williamsburg, James City County and York County. I just started so I am excited to get out and about to see how the Tourism Alliance can help businesses in the local area to be an option for consumer destination planning and acquisition.”
What was your first job ever?
”My first job ever was waiting tables at a restaurant called ‘Dixie Landing’ that used to sit right on the Alabama River.”
